Job Advert Summary
To operate a forklift for movement of goods into and out of work area according to instruction in the Oranjesig: inbound Logistics department.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4
- 2 - 3 years’ experience in applying job-related concepts, techniques and processes at the required level
- Valid forklift license
- Business English: Fluent
- Work in extreme conditions
- Work shifts/weekends/public holidays
Duties and Responsibilities
Operate forklift and move pallets of stock
- Move stock to and from shelves and vehicles
- Comply with safety procedures
- Inspect forklift when signing in and out
- Report on all damages
- Move completed pallet to desired destination
- Adhere to housekeeping standards
Operate a scanner
- Receive and action tasks using scanner
- Print PCL & affix his unique sticker thereon
Assist with stock count (when required)
