POSITION INFO

Grade 12 plus 3 years'' relevant Supply Chain/Stock experience Exposure to the Petroleum industry will be a definite advantage Fast-paced environment that requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to multitask under pressure, strong communication and decision-making skills Duties The role requires strong planning, problem-solving and coordination skills, working closely with suppliers, transporters, sales teams and customers Processing and placing customer orders received from customers and sales representative Securing product from suppliers and ensuring availability to meet customer demand Resolving supply-related issues at loading points and assisting transporters with operational challenges Managing product allocations and prioritisation during periods of supply shortages Monitoring and balancing stock across the group to ensure accurate inventory management Reconciling supplier loadings against sales and invoices to ensure every load collected is correctly accounted for Managing stock levels at internal depots, ensuring the right products are available at the right locations to support customer requirements Liaising with multiple internal departments and external stakeholders to maintain a smooth and uninterrupted supply chain Continuously identifying opportunities to improve supply efficiency, stock utilisation and customer service levels Reporting on volumes from clients, suppliers ect.
