POSITION INFO
Minimum r equirements: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or a related field 3 years' experience in an engineering role involving design, project engineering or technical support Knowledge of greenhouse systems, irrigation, climate-control systems or controlled environment agriculture will be highly advantageous Experience with engineering design, technical specifications and costing support Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering design software Willingness to travel within South Africa and across Africa Valid driver's licence Key Responsibilities Design and develop integrated greenhouse production facilities, including climate-control, irrigation, heating and cooling systems Prepare technical specifications and engineering solutions to support project costing and proposals Provide engineering, technical and project management support during the construction and installation of greenhouse facilities Liaise with suppliers, contractors and clients to ensure projects are delivered according to specifications and quality standards Troubleshoot technical challenges and implement practical engineering solutions to optimise agricultural production systems Consultant: Antone Swart - Dante Personnel Mpumalanga Apply via our website // MP008862 If you do not hear from us within 5 days, please accept that your application was unsuccessful
