An opportunity for a passionate and results-driven Somatologist to join a medical aesthetic practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing advanced skin treatments, conducting professional consultations, recommending skincare solutions, and delivering an exceptional patient experience. This role offers the unique opportunity to help build and grow the skin division of the practice while developing and managing a loyal patient base. The ideal candidate will be clinically competent, highly motivated, and enthusiastic about contributing to the long-term success and expansion of a premium aesthetic brand.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform professional skin consultations and develop customized treatment plans
- Conduct advanced skin treatments in accordance with clinic protocols
- Build, develop, and maintain a loyal patient base
- Educate patients on skincare products, homecare routines, and treatment recommendations
- Drive retail sales through professional product recommendations
- Assist the doctor with patient preparation, skin preparation, numbing, aftercare, and related support functions
- Perform mini peels, skin preparation treatments, and other delegated procedures within scope of practice
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
- Ensure treatment rooms, equipment, and stock are maintained to the highest standards
- Deliver an exceptional patient experience aligned with the clinic’s premium brand
- Contribute to the growth and development of the skin division of the practice
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Somatology/Aesthetic qualification CIDESCO, ITEC, SAAHSP, or equivalent
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a professional aesthetic, medical aesthetic, or skincare clinic environment
- Strong consultation, treatment planning, and retail recommendation skills
- Experience performing advanced skin treatments and managing patient treatment journeys
- Professional, well-groomed, and aligned with a premium patient experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to build and maintain a loyal patient base
- Comfortable working within a doctor-led aesthetic practice
- Computer literate and confident with patient record management systems
- Passion for skincare, patient results, and ongoing professional development
HOURS
- Full-time position
- Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00 or 09:00–18:00, depending on patient scheduling requirements
- Saturdays are generally not required and the practice is typically closed on weekends
- 3-month probation period applies.
