Responsibilities
- First point of contact for team members for Payroll
- Process and maintain payroll benefits accurately as required, ensuring all transactions are authorized, recorded and documented
- Ensure that provident fund transfer, withdrawal and death benefit forms are completed accurately and submitted timeously to Fund provider
- Ensure that provident fund monthly submissions are checked and paid timeously to Fund provider.
- Ensure that leave policies are correctly applied per team member and constantly updated and checked to ensure accuracy and correct leave due and leave pay provisions
- Ensure signed AODs (Acknowledgement of Debts) received are correct, and deducted in payroll per procedure. To maintain records to provide accurate information for debt recovery and liaison with Fund provider to achieve debt recovery where applicable
- Prepare and maintain related benefits records
- Preparing reports, analysis, summaries, reconciliations timeously as required
- Work closely with the Human Resources department to research and resolve problems, perform scheduled activities, liaise with external service providers, prepare and maintain accurate records
- Provide accounting support to Financial personnel
- Provide support to payroll officers and payroll & hr administrators and line managers and employees with Payroll benefit related concerns and queries.
