Help develop and integrate Brand and Trade Marketing programs for the South African and Sub Saharan African markets that leverage local and global marketing initiatives to maximize local business growth, profitability, and consumer equity.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Brand & Trade Marketing campaign planning and maintain marketing activity calendar for Direct to Consumer (DTC) and Wholesale channels
- Own all campaign & promotional rollouts, and with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, ensure all deadlines are adhered to, driving executional excellence
- Build demand generation plans for DTC and Wholesale accounts
- Drive PR and work with agency to maximise key earned media opportunities
- Social media management – planning oversight of partners social channels
- Daily point of contact with 3rd party agencies
- Work with stakeholders to track key metrics for reporting purposes
- Reporting – Monthly Business Reviews, Campaigns Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews
- Manage Brand Assistant as a direct report
- Manage team intern as a direct report
- Align and partner with Ecommerce Manager
- Coordinate the development, sourcing, production, tracking and delivery of all marketing and retail related tools against set timelines
- Assist with Events - consumer, internal, sales launch events, store launches etc.
- Assist with Influencer marketing and seeding
- Ecom support
- Evaluate all proposals
- Budget Management

- Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant Tertiary qualification
- Experience of 5+ years in a similar position
- Trade Marketing experience
- Retail experience
