POSITION INFO

A leading and well-established property developer is seeking an experienced Senior General Foreman to oversee multiple large-scale residential building projects across the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town, including Durbanville, Uitsig, and Fisantekraal . This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on construction professional with a proven track record of successfully delivering high-quality residential developments on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Minimum Requirements Minimum 10 years' experience as a General Foreman within the building industry. Proven experience managing large residential housing developments. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and quality control. Ability to coordinate subcontractors and multiple work fronts simultaneously. Sound understanding of health and safety regulations. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Valid driver's licence. Relevant construction qualification will be advantageous. Key Responsibilities Manage daily site operations across large residential developments. Lead and supervise site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ensure projects are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Coordinate construction activities and monitor project progress. Maintain strict quality control throughout all construction phases. Enforce health and safety compliance on site. Liaise with Contracts Managers, consultants, and professional teams. Resolve construction challenges proactively to minimise delays. Drive productivity and ensure programme milestones are achieved.
