Location: Cape Town, South Africa | Working Arrangement: Remote / Hybrid | Working Hours: Monday to Friday, UK Working Hours (9:00 am - 5:00 pm UK time) | Salary: R17,000 - R22,000 per month ABOUT OUR CLIENT Our client is a UK-based recruitment business that delivers high-quality candidates across multiple sectors. The Cape Town team provides dedicated support to UK consultants by managing candidate screening, compliance, and ensuring applicants are fully qualified and ready to progress through the recruitment process. THE ROLE: RESOURCER - SCREENING & COMPLIANCE This is a screening-focused recruitment support role responsible for engaging with inbound and interested candidates, conducting thorough qualification and screening processes, and ensuring candidates meet all requirements before progressing to consultants. The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for applicants, gathering key information, conducting initial checks, maintaining accurate candidate records, and managing compliance documentation within a fast-paced, high-volume environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Contact candidates who have expressed interest in specific roles. Conduct initial screening calls to assess candidate suitability and interest. Gather candidate information including availability, location, desired rate/salary, and qualifications. Ensure all interested candidates are contacted and responded to promptly. Provide a professional and positive first impression throughout the recruitment process. Accurately capture candidate details and career history. Assess candidate alignment with role requirements before submission. Identify potential gaps or concerns early in the recruitment process. Progress only qualified and relevant candidates. Conduct reference checks with previous employers. Verify candidate performance, reliability, and work history. Document and upload all reference feedback onto the CRM. Manage candidate compliance checks. Collect, verify, and upload required documentation, including identification, qualifications, and right-to-work documentation. Ensure all candidate records meet required compliance standards before submission. Maintain a complete audit trail within the CRM system. Accurately log all candidate interactions and updates within the CRM. Maintain clean, complete, and up-to-date candidate records. Track candidate progress through each stage of the recruitment process. Ensure consistency and accuracy across all CRM data entries. ABOUT YOU Previous experience in recruitment, resourcing, administration, or customer-facing roles is advantageous. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple candidates and tasks simultaneously. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Strong organisational and time management skills. Ability to work UK hours from Cape Town. Tech-savvy. Solid employment track record. Neutral English accent
