Accountant

Minimum Requirements

Matric certificate / equivalent

Bachelors in accounting, Finance, or equivalent

Computer literacy (MS Office) – Advance Excel, Word, and Power Point

Valid code 8 driver’s license & own reliable transport – willing to travel

Medically fit

Experience, Knowledge & Skills

Previous relevant experience in Finance

Hands-on experience with accounting software

Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills

Knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage all accounting transactions

Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings

Compile Monthly management pack

Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements

Raising monthly journals (Accruals, Depreciation, and provisions)

Reconcile intercompany loan accounts

Variance analysis

Maintain Fixed Asset Register

VAT calculations and recons

Prepare audit files for audit purposes

Preparation of overhead analysis

Comply with financial policies and regulations
