Cashier

Duties:

• Accurately process all cash, card and mobile transactions
• Provide friendly, helpful, and efficient service at the till point
• Handle returns, refunds and exchanges in line with store policy
• Keep your till area clean, organised and well-stocked
• Ensure proper till balancing at the start and end of your shift
• Report any till discrepancies or technical issues immediately
• Assist with basic customer queries and direct them to appropriate departments when needed
• Work as part of a team to maintain a positive store environment.

Requirements:

• The candidate must have matric Certificate
• 2 years’ experience as a cashier in a major retail store
• Strong numeracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Able to work well under pressure in a busy retail environment
• Must be honest, reliable and punctual
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
