POSITION INFO

Registered Nurse (Healthcare) We're looking for an exceptional Registered Nurse to join a multidisciplinary healthcare team at a well-established psychiatric facility in Bloemfontein . If you're committed to providing high-quality patient care and want to play a vital role in supporting individuals on their mental health journey, we'd love to hear from you. As part of a highly skilled interdisciplinary team, you will: Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care within your scope of practice. Assess, observe and monitor patients, communicating relevant clinical information to the multidisciplinary team. Create a safe, supportive and therapeutic environment for patients. Administer and educate patients on prescribed medication. Support patients in processing therapeutic interventions throughout their daily treatment programme. Encourage patient participation and compliance with therapy activities and daily schedules. Ensure nursing care aligns with the Mental Health Care Act (No. 17 of 2002) . Collaborate closely with Psychiatrists, Psychologists and other healthcare professionals to achieve the best possible patient outcomes. Minimum Requirements Diploma or Degree in General Nursing Science with Psychiatry. Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC). CPD portfolio with evidence of submission to SANC. Previous experience in a mental healthcare environment will be advantageous. Knowledge or experience in substance use disorders will be beneficial.
