Resident Engineer (Water & Wastewater Infrastructure)

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a professionally registered Civil Engineer to lead construction supervision activities on complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This role is suited to an experienced engineering professional with exceptional contract administration, project coordination, and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as Employer's Agent Representative throughout the construction phase
• Supervise contractors and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams
• Ensure construction complies with approved designs, specifications, and quality standards
• Manage payment certificates, variation orders, contractor claims, and contractual correspondence
• Monitor project budgets, cash flow, and construction programmes
• Coordinate sub-consultants and facilitate monthly technical and progress meetings
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental, and quality requirements
• Maintain construction records, testing documentation, and as-built information
• Support project delivery using digital collaboration platforms and BIM principles

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional registration as PrEng or PrTech
• Minimum 10 years' experience in water and wastewater construction supervision
• Demonstrated experience administering GCC contracts
• Strong understanding of construction quality assurance and project controls
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project

Highly Advantageous

• Pump stations and treatment works
• Large-diameter pipeline projects
• Revit, Civil 3D, EPANET, and EPASWMM
• BIM workflows and ISO 19650 implementation
