What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)

You'll design and deliver enterprise-scale data architectures across Azure, AWS and hybrid environments while creating robust data pipelines and modern cloud solutions. Beyond architecture, you'll partner with clients during presales engagements, lead technical workshops, develop proof of concepts and shape solution roadmaps that solve real business challenges. You'll enjoy this role because it combines hands-on technical work with strategic consulting, giving you the opportunity to influence cloud transformation projects from initial concept through to successful delivery.

What you'll need

Success in this role requires more than 10 years' experience in data engineering, data architecture or cloud data platforms, with strong expertise across Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Snowflake and the AWS data ecosystem. Excellent SQL, Python and Spark skills are essential, together with experience in presales, client workshops, solution design and technical presentations. Cloud certifications and exposure to enterprise migration or data governance initiatives will be advantageous.
