Qualifications / Requirements:

  • National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Industrial Engineering / Logistics /Project or Operations Management
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in logistics processes within an automotive manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Project Engineer in Logistics Planning or similar
  • Minimum 2 years’ Project Management experience
  • Experience with CAD systems, Power BI , Simulation Programs
  • Experience working with external contractors on facility development/modifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to compile reports and present proposals to management
  • Strong planning and organisational capability
  • Good communication (written and verbal)
  • Computer literacy and CAD proficiency
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in teams
  • Diplomacy and stakeholder engagement skills

Key Performance Areas:

  • The role supports Production, P&A, Localization, and Export projects by ensuring efficient material flow, cost optimisation, and continuous improvement of logistics operations
  • To facilitate all OHSE ,legal , Internal and External audits for the Logistics Division
  • Plan and implement logistics projects, production requests, and improvement initiatives
  • Design and implement logistics facilities (racking, packaging, storage, trolleys, pallets, etc)
  • Develop production and warehouse layouts using CAD systems
  • Coordinate project meetings and liaise with stakeholders across departments
  • Develop and optimise packaging specifications to reduce cost and prevent damage
  • Ensure compliance with safety, technical, and operational standards
