Data Analyst - Johannesburg or Cape Town (Hybrid)

POSITION INFO

Contract: 6 to 12 months (negotiable based on project scope) Working Model Hybrid: 3 days onsite | 2 days remote per week Purpose Our client is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to analyse enterprise data and deliver actionable business insights, dashboards, and performance reporting. The successful candidate will support informed decision-making and help drive business outcomes across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Analyse business and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI. Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs). Translate business requirements into analytical solutions. Validate, cleanse, and interpret data to ensure accuracy and consistency. Present insights and recommendations to business stakeholders. Collaborate with Data Engineers and Product Owners to enhance reporting capabilities. Support continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making. Requirements 3+ years' experience in Data Analysis or Business Intelligence. Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI. Strong SQL skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with DAX and Power Query. Strong data visualisation and storytelling capabilities. Experience in business analysis and stakeholder engagement. Experience with Microsoft Fabric is advantageous. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
