Warehouse Materials Controller

Our client, a leading Chemical Manufacturing company based in Jacobs, is looking to fill the position of Warehouse Materials Controller.

Purpose of the Role

Reporting to the Warehouse Distribution Controller, the successful applicant will be responsible for leading the end-to-end supply chain function by optimising inventory investment, ensuring efficient and consistent warehouse throughput, and managing distribution networks to achieve maximum customer satisfaction within a safe and compliant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Focus on maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Minimizing customer complaints.
• Accurate inventory control.
• Ensuring on time deliveries.
• Maintaining compliance with safety and transport regulations.
• Supervising Warehouse staff.
• Compliance with ISO, policies and procedures.
• Ensure accuracy of stock records and minimize stock variances and to thoroughly investigate and analyze discrepancies and accuracy of data capture in respect of stock transactions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Grade 12 Senior Certificate
• Diploma/Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (Advantageous)
• 3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar position

Other

• Computer literate i.e., MS office/computer (Word, excel, Syspro etc)
• Code 8 Driver’s license
• Forklift License
