Our client is seeking an experienced
Civil/Structural Engineer to join their multidisciplinary engineering team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who is passionate about delivering innovative, practical and buildable structural solutions across a diverse range of projects.
POSITION INFO
Minimum Requirements BSc/BEng or BTech Degree in Civil Engineering. Registered as a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng). Minimum of 10 years' experience in civil and structural engineering within an EPCM/EPM environment. Experience within the mining and minerals sector will be highly advantageous. Strong structural analysis and modelling experience. Proficiency in engineering design software and relevant industry codes and standards. Excellent communication, planning and stakeholder management skills. Key Responsibilities Deliver innovative, safe, practical and cost-effective civil and structural engineering designs across all stages of the project lifecycle. Develop engineering design criteria and technical solutions that meet project objectives and client expectations. Produce and review engineering calculations, specifications, reports and construction documentation. Perform structural analysis and validate engineering designs using recognised engineering software. Evaluate alternative design solutions to improve constructability, efficiency and overall project value. Work collaboratively with clients, architects, project managers, designers and multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver coordinated engineering solutions. Liaise closely with the Drawing Office to ensure the accurate and timely production of engineering drawings. Monitor project deliverables, engineering schedules and design changes to ensure successful project execution. Provide technical support to project teams, suppliers and contractors throughout the design and construction phases. Ensure all engineering work complies with company standards, statutory regulations, quality requirements and SHEQ standards. Maintain accurate engineering records, calculations and technical documentation. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance engineering processes, innovation and project delivery.
