POSITION INFO

Contract: 6 to 12 months (negotiable based on project scope) Working Model Hybrid: 3 days onsite | 2 days remote per week Purpose Our client is seeking an experienced Data Architect to design and govern the enterprise data architecture. The successful candidate will define strategic data models, platforms, standards, and governance frameworks that enable trusted, secure, and scalable data solutions across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Define the enterprise data architecture and target state. Develop enterprise data models, architecture principles, and standards. Design modern Data Lakehouse and cloud data platform architectures. Establish data governance, security, and compliance standards. Evaluate and guide data platform and technology selection. Partner with engineering, analytics, and business teams to deliver scalable data solutions. Define enterprise data integration patterns and interoperability. Support AI and advanced analytics initiatives through robust data architecture. Requirements 10+ years' experience in Enterprise Data Architecture. Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Synapse, and/or Snowflake. Strong knowledge of enterprise data modelling and architecture frameworks. Proficiency in SQL and modern data engineering concepts. Experience with Data Governance, Metadata Management, and Master Data Management (MDM). Experience with cloud data platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure. Strong understanding of data integration and API architecture. Excellent stakeholder engagement and architecture governance skills.
