SUMMARY

ECSA Project Engineer position available for company in Cape Town, dealing within the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project environment.

Lead the engineering design and technical delivery of C&I Solar PV and BESS projects.

Review and approve engineering designs, drawings and technical documentation.

Provide technical support throughout project execution, commissioning and project handover.

Collaborate with project managers, clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers.

Ensure compliance with South African engineering standards and industry best practices.

Mentor and support junior engineering staff.

POSITION INFO

Registered Professional Engineer ( Pr Eng ) with ECSA ( non-negotiable ). BEng/BSc in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). Minimum 8 years' experience in Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Solar PV projects, with BESS experience advantageous. Proven experience in engineering design, project execution and commissioning of renewable energy projects.
