Researcher: Climate Change and Inequality (Grant Funded 24-month contract)

REQUIREMENTS
- Research experience in climate change and climate finance, and an interest in the nexus between climate change and care;
- At least a Masters degree in economic development, or a similar discipline, is required for this appointment;
- A proven track record of engaging in policy spaces particularly in South Africa and across the global South;
- Demonstrable experience designing, implementing and managing research projects;
- Excellent research skills with proven ability to produce accredited publications;
- Very motivated and able to work with limited supervision.
This is an academic position in a small but highly-motivated research centre, based in the Faculty of Commerce, Law and Management. It has an attractive remuneration package and conditions of service. This 24-month grant-funded post may be extended depending on available funding.
