Truck Driver (5-Ton Vehicle)

We are a leading distributor of waterproofing solutions, specialising in torch-on membranes and a wide range of ancillary products based in Linbro Park, Sandton.

We are looking for a reliable and responsible Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of waterproofing products to customers and branches using a 5-ton truck.

The role involves making deliveries and, when not on deliveries, assisting in the warehouse by loading and unloading stock, preparing orders, maintaining the vehicle, and performing general warehouse duties.

Salary: R11 500.00 per month (subject to experience)

• Safely operate a 5-ton truck
• Deliver products to customers and company branches
• Load and offload stock
• Conduct vehicle inspections and report any defects
• Keep the vehicle clean and in good condition
• Assist with general warehouse duties when not on deliveries

• Valid South African Code C1 (or higher) driver's licence
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP)
• Minimum of 3 years' experience driving a 5-ton truck or similar commercial vehicle
• Clean driving record
• Physically fit and able to load and unload stock
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
• Good communication skills
• Experience in the retail or construction sector will be advantageous
