Group Financial Reporting Manager | Gauteng, Pretoria

A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Group Financial Reporting Manager to lead the consolidated financial reporting function across the group. This strategic role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting while supporting executive decision-making and driving continuous improvement across finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end group reporting.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
• Manage the external audit process and liaise with auditors.
• Develop and maintain group accounting policies and reporting standards.
• Analyse financial results and provide insights to senior leadership.
• Drive reporting process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and support finance transformation initiatives.
• Lead and develop the financial reporting team.

Requirements

• CA(SA) professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum of 10 years’ proven experience in group financial reporting and consolidations.
• Must display proven experience in end to end Financial Reporting experience.
• Must have at least 3-5 years experience People Management experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS 9,17 and statutory reporting.
• Experience managing audits and complex reporting environments.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel and ERP /Oracle system experience.
