A prestigious financial institution is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) to join its Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with strong financial reporting experience to contribute within a highly regulated and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute the monthly financial reporting process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Prepare the Statement of Assets and Liabilities (SAL), financial reviews, and annual financial statements.
• Perform income tax and VAT calculations and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations and oversee fixed asset accounting.
• Authorise accounting transactions and payments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal controls.
• Participate in cross-functional projects, stakeholder engagements, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and governance requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (SA) qualification.
• 3–5 years' experience preparing annual financial statements.
• Strong financial reporting, reconciliations, tax, and fixed asset accounting experience.
• Knowledge of IFRS and financial controls.
• Experience establishing sustainability reporting frameworks will be advantageous.
