Job Opportunity- Parts Manager Pretoria ( Open to BEE Female Candidates)

Our client with in the transport passenger sector is looking for a highly experienced and target-driven Parts Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Parts Department.

Requirements

Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.

Tertiary qualification in Inventory Control

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Parts Manager within the automotive industry

8 years Inventory experience

5 years’ experience in parts sales, parts supervision, or senior counter sales

Knowledge of the workshop procedures and practices

Knowledge of automotive spares and units

Experience in a supplying part into service/workshop environments will be highly advantageous

Ensure proper control of the Distribution Stores operations.

Manage the transportation and delivery of consignments to the transport sector

Determine the requirements and ensure the proper procedure for the correct handling and moving of consignments.

Manage the maintenance, optimal utilization and replacement of all the delivery vehicles.

Implement Company Occupational Health and Safety policies.

Manage and ensure correct layout of transport sector stores.

Ensure that correct levels of stock are maintained at the transport sector

Assist in the budget planning process and monitor expenditure.

Coordinate BI-Annual stock take for the Business Unit.

Plan, allocate and manage staff according to operational requirements and priorities. Control A & B Unit claim register.

Control outstanding orders report on a monthly basis.

Check late GRV listing for month-end accruals.

Ensure adequate control and management of salvage units.

Control Oil & Anti-freeze levels including Diesel dips and deliveries at all three depots. Plan and control the small tool and special tools
