POSITION INFO

Contract: 6 to 12 months (negotiable based on project scope) Working Model Hybrid: 3 days onsite | 2 days remote per week Purpose Our client is seeking an experienced Emerging Technology COE Head (Software Engineering) to lead the Software Engineering function. This role is responsible for defining the engineering strategy, operating model, governance, and technology roadmap to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality enterprise software solutions that support business growth and digital transformation. Key Responsibilities Define and execute the Software Engineering strategy and roadmap. Build, lead, and mentor high-performing software engineering teams. Establish engineering standards, governance, and best practices. Drive Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices. Oversee enterprise application development and delivery. Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and Infrastructure teams. Manage engineering budgets, vendors, and strategic initiatives. Develop engineering leadership capability through coaching and mentoring. Requirements 12+ years' experience in Software Engineering. 5+ years' experience leading enterprise software engineering teams. Strong knowledge of modern software architecture and engineering practices. Experience with cloud-native application development (Azure and/or AWS). Expertise in DevSecOps, CI/CD, and Agile at Scale. Experience establishing engineering governance and quality assurance frameworks. Strong executive stakeholder management skills. Proven experience leading enterprise technology transformation initiatives.
