If you have spent serious time in the trenches of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, you know that passing an exam is one thing, but actually building complex journeys that do not break is another.

We are looking for a proven Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer for a 12-month contract. You will be working with a major Financial Services client based in Johannesburg.

• Strong contract rate: This role offers up to R800 per hour, depending on the depth of your practical development experience.
• Experience over badges: If you have the hands-on delivery track record, that matters more to this team than a long list of certifications. If you have the certs, that is a great bonus, but your actual capability is what counts.
• Hybrid flexibility: You will only be required to work at the client site in the Sandton or Rosebank area 2 days per week. The rest of the week is yours to work remotely.
• A stable 12-month runway: A year-long contract within a large-scale financial environment gives you a solid, predictable project timeline to sink your teeth into.

What you will be doing

You will handle the development, configuration, and implementation of marketing automation strategies within a financial services ecosystem. This means working with data setups, segmentations, and campaign executions where precision is critical.

What we need to see

• Strong, reference-able experience developing inside Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• The ability to commute to the Sandton or Rosebank area twice a week.
• A practical understanding of data extensions and journey configuration.
