Key Outputs

  • Ensure accuracy and validity of pricing of all parts in the system in line with Cat programs by customer/national programs
  • Communicate the Price changes accurately to the relevant pricing teams by customer
  • Assisting with the preparation of proposals, quotes, and contracts
  • Contributing to strategic planning and goal setting for sales targets
  • Align and execute the requirements of different customer pricing strategy
  • Do a trend analysis of the effectiveness of pricing and communication
  • Total support and commitment to all operational queries and requests with regards to parts pricing for Aftermarket transactions
  • Ensuring discounts and promotions for Product Support and Marketing are communicated to regions for all sales channels
  • Providing guidance on sales processes and systems in relation to parts pricing processes
  • Collaborating with other departments such as finance, and operations to ensure alignment and support for sales activities.
  • Facilitating communication and information sharing between teams
  • Effective communication to regional Product Support teams
  • Query resolution in relation to parts pricing queries

Qualification, Experience and Competencies

  • Minimum requirements: BCom. Business and financial acumen.
  • Experience in similar operations with focus on suppliers.
  • Large volumes across multiple organisations.
  • 3 - 5 years operational experience
  • Advance experience in MS excel.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Sound SAP MM and CRM knowledge
