1. Client Leadership & Advisory

Serve as a trusted advisor to CFOs and Finance leadership teams, shaping their finance transformation agenda

Lead CFO-level conversations on

o Finance Operating Model redesign

o Digital Finance and ERP transformation (e.g., SAP S/4HANA)

o Data, analytics, and AI in finance

Translate business strategy into finance-led value creation opportunities

2. Finance Transformation Delivery

Own end-to-end finance reinvention programs, including

o Financial planning & analysis (FP&A) modernisation

o Finance platform transformation (SAP, Oracle)

o Intelligent Finance Operations, including integration of:

 Advanced analytics and predictive insights

 AI-driven automation (e.g., close, forecasting, anomaly detection)

 Data governance and finance data models

o GBS design and implementation

4. Account & Growth Leadership

Identify and originate finance transformation opportunities across priority accounts

Own pipeline development and conversion for Finance Reinvention offerings

Shape and lead proposals, RFP responses, and deal structuring

Contribute to account growth strategy and positioning of Finance as a key entry point

5. Practice Development & Thought Leadership

Build and scale Finance Reinvention capability locally/regionally

Develop reusable assets, accelerators, and industry-specific propositions

Contribute to thought leadership on

o Future of Finance

o CFO agenda in South Africa / Africa

Mentor and develop next-generation finance transformation leaders

Key Skills & Experience

Functional Expertise

Deep understanding of

o Finance processes (R2R, FP&A, O2C, P2P)

o Finance operating models and shared services

o Regulatory, compliance, and reporting requirements

Transformation Expertise

Extensive senior finance leadership experience in complex, global, matrixed organizations

Strong exposure to ERP platforms (SAP/Oracle) and digital finance tools

Experience embedding data, analytics, and AI into finance

Leadership & Commercial Acumen

Strong executive presence and ability to influence at C-suite level

Demonstrated ability to originate and close deals

Experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary teams

Strong commercial acumen with ability to influence C-suite stakeholders

Comfort operating in high ambiguity, fast-evolving environments
