An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and driven
Finance Controller for our Cash Management client in Midrand, reporting directly to the Cluster Finance Director.
This role is responsible for overseeing the full financial function across multiple entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, strong internal controls, and effective team leadership.
POSITION INFO
Key Responsibilities: â Oversee the full finance function including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Cashbook â Manage month-end and year-end reporting and deliverables â Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS â Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial records, reconciliations, and reporting â Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis â Manage internal and external audits and ensure statutory compliance â Handle SARS queries and regulatory submissions â Implement and maintain strong financial controls and process improvements â Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve group objectives â Provide strategic financial insight to support business decision-making Minimum Requirements: ð¹ CA (SA) or BCom + Completed Articles ð¹ Minimum 5 years' experience managing a full financial function ð¹ Proven leadership experience within a finance environment ð¹ Strong understanding of financial processes, controls, and reporting ð¹ Advanced proficiency in Excel, MS Outlook, and Word Key Competencies: â Strong analytical and problem-solving skills â Excellent written and verbal communication â High attention to detail and accuracy â Deadline-driven and process-oriented â Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances â Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills â Self-motivated, resourceful, and highly organised If you are a strategic finance professional looking to take the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you.
