Qualifications And Experience

Applicants must have:

A Culinary Diploma
A minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a Sous Chef
Knowledge of pastry preparation and baking

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Direct food preparation and collaborate with the Head Chef
Assist in the design and development of food and beverage menus
Produce high-quality dishes, ensuring excellence in both presentation and taste
Oversee and supervise kitchen staff
Assist with menu planning, inventory control, and supply management
Ensure food quality standards are maintained and the kitchen remains in excellent condition
Maintain cleanliness at all workstations and ensure compliance with food safety standards
Offer innovative suggestions and ideas to improve kitchen performance
Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment
Maintain food costs and stock levels in line with operational requirements
