POSITION INFO
QUALIFICATION & MIN REQUIREMENTS Minimum 3-5 years retail management experience (FMCG or grocery sector preferred). Strong knowledge of stock management and store operations . Proven track record in staff management in conjunction with labour law compliance . Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office & Excel ; Sigma knowledge will be an advantage . Willingness to work shifts and weekends as required. Must have own reliable transport to ensure punctuality and flexibility. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Store Operations Management Oversee daily operations of the retail store, ensuring smooth functioning across departments. Manage stock control, receiving processes, and compliance with company policies. Ensure adherence to labour law, health & safety, and operational standards. Staff Leadership Supervise, train, and motivate staff to achieve sales and service targets. Conduct performance reviews, manage disciplinary procedures, and maintain staff morale. Prepare and manage staff schedules to optimize productivity and control labour costs. Financial & Sales Performance Monitor turnover, gross profit, and shrinkage, ensuring targets are met. Implement promotions, merchandising strategies, and customer engagement initiatives. Prepare weekly and monthly reports for senior management. Customer Service Excellence Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve complaints effectively. Build strong relationships with the local community and suppliers.
