A reputable private college in Cape Town is seeking passionate, qualified, and experienced facilitators to join our academic team. We are currently recruiting for the following disciplines:

  • Mechanical Engineering Facilitator/Lecturer
  • Carpentry Facilitator/Lecturer

POSITION INFO

Key Responsibilities Facilitate engaging theoretical and practical training sessions. Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments. Assess learner performance and provide constructive feedback. Maintain accurate learner records and academic documentation. Ensure compliance with quality assurance and institutional policies. Mentor and support learners throughout their studies. Promote a safe and productive learning environment. Minimum Requirements Mechanical Engineering National Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering. Relevant industry experience (minimum 3 years preferred). Previous teaching or facilitation experience will be an advantage. Assessor and Moderator registration is advantageous. Carpentry Qualified Artisan (Trade Test) in Carpentry or a relevant qualification. Minimum 3 years' practical industry experience. Previous teaching, facilitation, or apprentice training experience is advantageous. Assessor and Moderator registration will be an added advantage. Skills and Competencies Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong classroom management and learner engagement abilities. Sound technical knowledge in the relevant trade. Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong organisational and administrative skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
