POSITION INFO

Cape Town or Johannesburg An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join a well-established, technology-driven organisation within the fintech and payments space. This role offers the opportunity to work on enterprise-scale platforms, building and enhancing high-performance applications that process large volumes of data in a secure, regulated environment. The position is currently hybrid , with a longer-term plan to transition to a fully remote working model. Candidates can be based in Cape Town or Johannesburg . What you''ll be doing Design, develop and maintain enterprise web applications and backend services. Build scalable SQL Server database solutions, including T-SQL stored procedures and performance optimisation. Develop responsive front-end applications using Angular, TypeScript and ASP.NET. Collaborate with analysts, developers and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. Perform testing, debugging and application support to ensure system stability and performance. Contribute to secure software development aligned with industry best practices. Participate in Agile development processes and continuously improve existing products. What we''re looking for 5+ years'' experience with Microsoft SQL Server and advanced T-SQL development. 3+ years'' experience developing modern web applications using ASP.NET, Angular, TypeScript and Bootstrap. Experience working on enterprise or financial systems. Strong understanding of database optimisation, software architecture and secure coding principles. Experience with Azure DevOps, Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies. A proactive problem-solver with excellent analytical and communication skills who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
