Tsebo Facilities Solutions is looking for a Storeman to ensure the effective and efficient day-to-day management of maintenance engineering stores. The role focuses on maintaining accurate stock control, preventing shrinkage and financial loss, and ensuring cost-effective procurement of parts and services without compromising quality.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain appropriate stock levels of technical and non-technical items
  • Ensure all stock is stored securely, neatly, and in an organized manner
  • Receive, inspect, and issue stock in line with company procedures
  • Handle physical movement, packing, and binning of stock
  • Conduct regular stock counts and support audit processes
  • Capture all stock transactions accurately using Infor EAM system
  • Monitor and manage stock usage to minimize losses and variances
  • Provide daily feedback and observations to the Store Supervisor
  • Deliver high levels of internal customer service to maintenance teams
  • Ensure compliance with SHEQ policies (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)
  • Perform any reasonable ad hoc duties as requested

Skills and Competencies

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with Infor EAM or similar stock management systems
  • Understanding of building maintenance and technical stock items
  • Basic procurement and inventory control knowledge

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12

Advantageous

  • Tertiary qualification in a related field

Experience

  • 2 years’ clerical experience in a technical environment
  • 2 years’ experience as a Handyman or Artisan Knowledge of purchasing policies and procedures
  • Experience working with Infor EAM
