SUMMARY

A vacancy exists for a Driver in the Training Division based at Gijima Training Academy

POSITION INFO

The suitable candidate's main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Drive and maintain the company vehicle for official travel and business, or as requested by management. Maintain high standard of service to both internal and external clients Ensure that safe driving practices are adhered to including local driving codes and internally agreed standards. Ensure punctuality and safe transport of all learners and driving duties. Observing the road and traffic laws and regulations of South Africa. Ensure vehicle is kept clean, tidy and in good working condition always Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills: Minimum of 3 years' experience in the specific job function; Valid Code 10 (C1) license & valid PDP; Grade 12 or equivalent qualification; Must be prepared to extensively travel as and when required; PSIRA grade A; Own transport; Female applicants will be considered; Housing close to the training center Valid firearm competency in both Handgun and Shotgun and Self- Loading Rifle; Medically fit to perform duties; Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record; Sound Communication skills (verbal and in writing); Bilingual (English and any other South African language); Willing to work long hours/overtime and public Holidays;
