Our client, a leading logistics company committed to operational excellence, is seeking a skilled Financial Controller to drive financial insights and performance across their branch network in Gauteng. If you thrive on translating complex data into actionable strategies that enhance profitability and efficiency, this opportunity is for you. Duties: Develop, review, and analyse monthly branch Profit and Loss statements to ensure accuracy and insightfulness. Examine revenue, costs, margins, and operational drivers to assess performance against targets. Interpret data patterns to identify volume trends and their impact on profitability. Meet regularly with Branch Managers to review financial results, explain variances, and strategise improvements. Support branch teams with identifying and implementing cost optimisation and productivity initiatives. Ensure financial reporting integrity through detailed data validation and reconciliations. Identify financial and operational risks from trends and anomalies. Provide financial insights to assist budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities. Simplify complex financial information for non-finance stakeholders. Requirements: 3-5 years of relevant financial analysis and management accounting experience. Strong skills in analysis, data interpretation, and financial reporting. Proficiency in Excel Experience with Profit and Loss management. Ability to communicate complex insights clearly to non-finance colleagues. Nice to Have: Industry experience in logistics or related fields. Opportunity: Salary: R45,000 - R55,000 per month (CTC, Negotiable) An on-site role within a dynamic, growth-oriented logistics environment. This role will suit a strong Financial Controller or Management Accountant who is able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
