SUMMARY

A leading supplier and installer of industrial remote controls and system integration seeks a Junior Draughtsman to assist in translating engineering concepts into precise manufacturing and installation drawings. Reporting to the Director and GM.

POSITION INFO

Skills required: 2-4 years of experience Certificate in Draughting Relevant National Diploma, N5/N6 certification, or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Instrumentation Proficient in SolidWorks or Fusion 360 High attention to detail, strong mechanical/electrical aptitude Telecommunication and automation control systems is preferred Duties include: Assist Engineer with generating 2D and 3D drawings for industrial radio transmitters, receivers, and integrated control panels. Maintain and update drawing revisions, engineering change orders, and "as-built" documentation BOM generations Create wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and system architecture layouts Ensure all layouts and modifications meet strict electrical, safety, and regulatory codes Coordinate with engineers, manufacturing teams, and field technicians to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable
