POSITION INFO
Responsibilities: Conduct quality inspections on electrical construction projects, including overhead lines, transmission lines and substations. Ensure all work complies with project specifications, quality plans, drawings, industry standards and safety requirements. Identify non-conformances, recommend corrective actions and promote continuous quality improvement. Maintain inspection reports, NCRs, quality records, checklists and project close-out documentation. Support and maintain the Quality Management System. Work closely with project teams, site supervisors, contractors and clients to ensure quality expectations are consistently exceeded. Participate in audits, inspections and quality meetings. Requirements: A qualification in Electrical Engineering, Quality Management or a related field. Proven experience as a Quality Officer or Quality Inspector within the electrical engineering or construction industry. Practical experience on overhead power line, transmission line and substation projects. Strong knowledge of quality control procedures, inspections and project documentation. The ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications and inspection test plans. Good computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel). A valid driver's licence. Willingness to travel to project sites when required. Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems. Excellent attention to detail. Strong communication and reporting skills. A proactive, solutions-driven approach. A commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement.
