Luxury Lodge | Komatipoort, Mpumalanga

A Head Chef opportunity is now available within the hospitality industry at a luxury lodge in Komatipoort. This role is ideal for an experienced culinary professional seeking to lead a high-performing kitchen in a 4/5-star environment. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences, understand current food and wine trends, and thrive in a lodge setting, this Head Chef role offers an excellent career move with live-in benefits.

2-3 years’ previous experience in a Head Chef role within a 4/5-star environment (essential)
Food hygiene certification and/or professional cooking qualification
Strong understanding of current food and wine trends
Knowledge of dietary and religious food requirements
Experience creating, implementing, and maintaining control documents and training manuals
Proven knowledge of stock control procedures and kitchen management systems
Skilled in planning, budgeting, and departmental administration
Valid driver’s license
Solid experience in functions and events catering within the hospitality sector

Package

Salary: R15 000 per month
Live-in position included
