SUMMARY
Our client, a well-established organisation operating within the Office Automation and IT industry, is seeking to employ a driven and results-oriented IT Sales Representative to join their team based in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape.
POSITION INFO
This role is focused on generating new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and closing sales. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales team, IT Solutions Specialists, and Technical Department to identify client requirements and design tailored technology solutions that meet their business needs. This is a high-growth opportunity with strong commission potential. Requirements: Matric Certificate Valid driver's license 3-5 Years Experience Proven track record in new business development. Strong communication and relationship-building skills Self-motivated and target-driven Ability to understand business needs and position solutions Some experience with IT, Telco, connectivity or cyber security products Experience Selling: IT services: Telecoms: Connectivity: Office automation (Advantageous) Understanding of : Managed IT services, Cloud / Microsoft 365, Cybersecurity basics, Servers, and Networking (Advantageous) Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Business Development Generate new business through: Cold calling Networking Referrals Existing client base Frequent Travel Required Solution Sales Identify opportunities for: Managed IT services Microsoft 365 solutions Networking solutions Server solutions Cloud solutions Cybersecurity solutions (firewalls, endpoint, email security) Client Engagement Book and attend client meetings Build and maintain strong client relationships Identify client requirements and business needs Position suitable technology solutions based on client requirements Sales Process Management Work with the Solutions Specialist to: Scope solutions Build proposals Close deals Maintain and grow a pipeline of opportunities Meet and exceed monthly sales targets Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
