SUMMARY

POSITION INFO

Job Description: Install and commission electrical and monitoring systems at customer sites Configure, set up, and test equipment to ensure optimal performance Perform PLC programming, troubleshooting, and system modifications Provide on-site technical support, fault-finding, and problem resolution Train customers on system operation and functionality Conduct preventative maintenance and service inspections Complete installation, commissioning, and service documentation accurately Liaise with customers to ensure effective system performance and support Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and electrical standards Support continuous improvement and customer satisfaction initiatives Skills & Experience: Minimum 4 years proven experience working with electrical systems in a field-based role PLC programming and troubleshooting experience Experience with monitoring, tracking, or traceability systems Exposure to industrial or manufacturing environments Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage site-based activities Excellent communication and customer service skills Willingness to travel to client sites as required Valid driver's licence Qualification: Mechatronics / Electrical qualification (Electrician / Electrical Technician / Engineering Diploma) Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
