Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of leads and potential clients through active networking and prospecting.
  • Conduct market research to identify and evaluate trends, customer needs, and competitor activities within the used vehicle sector.
  • Engage with clients to understand their vehicle requirements and provide expert guidance throughout the purchasing process.
  • Present and demonstrate vehicles to potential customers, highlighting features, benefits, and value propositions.
  • Negotiate and close sales transactions, ensuring a seamless process from initial contact through to final delivery.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective promotional strategies and campaigns to attract potential buyers.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reports on sales activities, client interactions, and inventory status.
  • Provide exceptional after-sales support to enhance customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably within the automotive industry, demonstrating strong negotiation skills and a customer-oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
  • Strong understanding of the used vehicle market, including valuation, trends, and customer preferences.
  • Competency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage customer interactions and sales cycles effectively.
  • Demonstrable problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
  • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Matric Certificate and Sales Experience
  • Experience in digital marketing strategies, particularly in relation to automotive sales.
  • Knowledge of financing options and vehicle warranty products that can add value to clients.
  • Certifications from recognized automotive sales training programs.
