Fraud Manager

We have an amazing opportunity for a Fraud Manager at a based in leading payment aggregator and provider of secure payment solutions based in Stellenbosch!

The main purpose of this role is:

  • to protect the business, biller partners, and customers from financial crime by leading both strategic and operational fraud detection, prevention, investigation, and governance frameworks across a multi-channel payment environment.

We require a candidate with:

  • Education & Experience: Relevant degree (CFE is advantageous) with 5–8 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Industry Background: Strong background in fintech, payments, PSP, payment aggregators, or card-specific banking.
  • Technical Skills: Proven experience with transaction monitoring tools, fraud platforms, or rules engines.
  • Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of fraud typologies, internal controls, and compliance (FICA, SARB, card scheme rules).
  • General: Fluent in business English and must have own reliable transport.
