Data Engineer (6-Month Contract)

Our client is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join their Engineering team on a 6-month contract. This role is focused on designing, building, and maintaining scalable data infrastructure that supports both operational systems and analytics platforms. The ideal candidate will be strong in data pipelines, cloud-based data systems, and database optimisation.

Skills Required

• 5+ years’ experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong SQL expertise and experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with DBT or similar data pipeline tools.
• Proficiency in Python or another programming language for data processing.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modelling.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub version control.
