SUMMARY

We are looking for a Test Automation Manager to support business growth by ensuring products remain relevant, reliable, and of the highest quality. Lead the QA team and drive test automation initiatives in line with established quality assurance standards and best practices. Manage product risks and interdependencies throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of robust, high-quality, and error-free software. Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Scrum Masters, QA Leads, Developers, Architects, Product Owners, and key stakeholders to consistently meet and exceed expectations.

POSITION INFO

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS : Develop a clear understanding of project scope, objectives, and success criteria Collaborate with stakeholders to support the planning and prioritisation of requirements Analyse existing processes and design new business processes, including data flow mapping Create detailed user stories and prototype mock-ups for new features and enhancements Identify constraints and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to design optimal solutions within defined limitations Provide sign-off on delivered features on behalf of the Product team when required Design and prepare comprehensive test cases prior to execution Produce specifications that consider alternative approaches and solutions Critically evaluate requirements and challenge assumptions to ensure accuracy and completeness Execute test cases and document findings clearly and thoroughly Conduct research on functional requirements, best practices, and relevant methodologies Provide input and recommendations to enhance the overall user experience Develop detailed technical specifications Prepare clear and user-friendly documentation Technical Competencies Strong documentation and visualisation skills Proficiency in writing clear and detailed functional specifications Solid understanding of software development principles and methodologies Good working knowledge of relational database concepts Understanding of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environments Practical knowledge of project management principles and practices Domain knowledge within HR, Payroll, and Time & Attendance systems Familiarity with user interface (UI) design and user experience (UX) principles Ability to break down complex problems into manageable components Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Advanced competency in Microsoft Excel Basic understanding of networking concepts Exposure to cloud-based environments and systems Strong understanding of computer systems and end-user interactions Ensure all deliverables are completed within agreed timeframes Required Minimum Work Experience Minimum of 4+ years' experience in Quality Assurance At least 4+ years in a management or leadership role 4-6 years' experience in test automation Experience within HR, Payroll, Time & Attendance, or finance systems is advantageous Professional Knowledge Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles Experience in development using Python and/or C# Working knowledge of Node.js Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Playwright and Robot Framework Proficiency in API testing using tools such as RestAssured, Postman, or SOAPUI Experience in performance testing using JMeter Familiarity with version control tools such as GitHub Knowledge of Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices Understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) processes Experience working within Agile environments and cross-functional teams Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and XRAY Test Management Apply now!
