A leading South African enterprise technology solutions provider is expanding its cloud infrastructure team and is looking for an experienced Network Engineer to help design, build and support enterprise-grade cloud and network environments.

The Role

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting enterprise networking environments while contributing to the continued growth of a rapidly expanding cloud platform. The role offers exposure to cutting-edge technologies, complex enterprise environments and the opportunity to work on large-scale infrastructure projects.

POSITION INFO

Key Responsibilities Design, implement and support enterprise network infrastructure. Support cloud networking and connectivity across enterprise platforms. Configure and maintain routing, switching and network security solutions. Support data centre and cloud infrastructure environments. Monitor infrastructure performance, availability and capacity. Troubleshoot complex networking and infrastructure issues. Collaborate closely with cloud, infrastructure and engineering teams. Contribute to infrastructure architecture and solution design initiatives. Requirements Qualifications A Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering Experience Minimum 5 years' experience within enterprise networking and infrastructure environments. Experience working within enterprise, cloud, ISP or managed service provider environments. Strong experience with routing, switching, network architecture and troubleshooting. Exposure to technologies such as Cisco, Aruba, MikroTik, Mellanox or similar enterprise networking platforms. Certifications (Advantageous) CCNA / CCNP Aruba Certified Professional VMware Certified Professional RHCSA / RHCE Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate AWS Solutions Architect About You We're looking for someone who is technically strong, proactive and passionate about cloud and infrastructure technologies.
