POSITION INFO

Key Responsibilities As the Group Management Accountant, you will be responsible for: Leading the consolidation and preparation of monthly, quarterly, interim and annual Group financial reporting. Producing high-quality management reports for Executive, Board and leadership teams. Preparing and consolidating Group budgets, forecasts and long-term financial planning models. Performing detailed variance analysis against budgets, forecasts and prior year performance while providing meaningful commentary and recommendations. Supporting the preparation of Annual Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS. Assisting with integrated reporting, investor presentations and shareholder reporting. Developing insightful financial models, dashboards and performance reports that support strategic decision-making. Driving continuous improvement of Group reporting processes, financial controls and governance frameworks. Ensuring compliance with IFRS, taxation legislation and all relevant statutory reporting requirements. Acting as the technical accounting expert on Group reporting matters. Partnering closely with Finance Managers and Financial Accountants across multiple business units to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Coordinating internal and external audit requirements and resolving complex reporting matters. Supporting strategic finance projects, business initiatives and ad hoc executive reporting. Identifying reporting efficiencies through automation, reporting tools and best-practice financial processes. Providing financial insights that improve business performance and support commercial decision-making. Minimum Requirements To be successful in this role, you will have: CA(SA) qualification with active SAICA membership. BCom Honours (CTA) and completed SAICA Articles. Minimum 4 years' post-articles experience within a Group Finance, Financial Reporting or Management Accounting environment. Strong IFRS and statutory reporting knowledge. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence and reporting tools. Experience working within ERP systems. Proven experience preparing consolidated financial reports for multi-entity organisations. Strong analytical, commercial and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Advantageous Experience Experience in any of the following will be highly beneficial: Listed company reporting. Cognos reporting. Treasury exposure. Financial reporting automation. Integrated Reporting. Hospitality, leisure, gaming or multi-site operations. Financial systems implementation or process improvement projects.
