About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative for New Vehicles at VW Edenvale. In this role, you will primarily engage with potential vehicle buyers, providing them with tailored solutions and exceptional service as you guide them through the purchasing process. Your expertise will help create lasting relationships with customers while contributing to the overall success of our dealership.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their vehicle preferences and requirements.
- Conduct thorough product demonstrations and highlight features of the new vehicle offerings.
- Generate leads through various channels, including referrals, networking, and social media.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the automotive market and competition to effectively position our products.
- Prepare and present quotes to customers, clearly outlining financing options and promotions.
- Negotiate sales contracts and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and in compliance with dealership policies.
- Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Collaborate with the service department to facilitate a seamless customer experience throughout the ownership journey.
Requirements
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in the automotive industry or a similar customer-focused environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
- Excellent negotiation skills and a results-oriented mindset.
- Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in vehicle sales or a background in customer service is advantageous.
- Knowledge of automotive financing options and regulations.
- Previous experience with dealership management systems.
- Relevant sales certifications or training in automotive sales practices.
