About the Role
As an Administrator for Dealer Warranty at VW Vereeniging PC, you will play a crucial role in managing warranty claims and ensuring compliance with company and manufacturer policies. You will be responsible for facilitating claims processing, handling queries, and providing excellent support to our dealers and customers, maintaining a strong focus on efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer warranty claims for vehicles, ensuring adherence to manufacturer policies and guidelines.
- Review and validate warranty submissions from dealers, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided.
- Communicate effectively with dealers to clarify claim details, resolve discrepancies, and facilitate timely resolutions.
- Maintain accurate records of all warranty transactions and ensure all data is captured in the warranty management system.
- Process warranty reimbursements and oversee the financial aspects of warranty claims, including reporting on claim trends.
- Collaborate with technical teams to interpret warranty data and assist in addressing recurring issues with specific vehicle models.
- Provide training and support to dealership staff regarding warranty processes and system usage.
- Assist in the development and implementation of warranty policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in warranty administration, claims processing, or a related field, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate meaningful reports.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in using warranty management software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in business administration, finance, or a technical field related to the automotive industry.
- Understanding of dealership operations and vehicle warranty processes is preferred.
- Previous experience with customer service or support roles would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of South African automotive regulations and standards.
