Junior EHS Officer Location: Midrand, Gauteng Type: 3 Month Contract Job Description We are seeking a Junior EHS Officer to join our team in Midrand. This role involves preparing safety files, administering site access protocols, handling document control, and other EHS administrative tasks under the guidance of our senior EHS manager. Key Responsibilities Ensure alignment of safety organizations with legal requirements Assist in compiling and approving safety files Identify EHS training vendors and communicate requirements Communicate updated legal requirements to Business Areas and Functions Ensure health programs comply with legal requirements and SE standards Facilitate incident reporting to relevant authorities Train employees on IT EHS software Manage critical deadlines for reporting Issue safety communications and lessons learned Provide general admin support to the EQS team Qualifications & Skills Grade 12 In possession of an Environmental Health diploma from a South African University Certified in SAMTRAC Understanding of EHS principles and regulations Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS software Passionate about EHS management If you are a motivated EHS professional looking to make an impact, apply now!
